What the hell are Auburn fans laughing at? I'm pretty sure if Grant had Barbee's record in the SEC is first four years he wouldn't be at Bama right now. Grant has at least made post season play and been competitive in the SEC most years. I don't disagree that he deserves one more chance, but the leash should be very short. Anything short of making the tournament next season should get him fired.

It's not a real tough decision when your coach is something like 18-50 in the SEC over 4 years.

But who knew it was an apparel company holding back AU. Switch to Nike and Auburn basketball will be right up there with Florida and Kentucky.

LSU had similar problems early on and at different times throughout the season looks like they're just playing street ball

Bama's inability to pull the plug. If BB cannot make the tough decision, the athletic dept will be in a world of hurt in a few years.

I have my doubts Grant will ever be able to get things turned around but after losing Lacey and Pollard in the offseason, I think he deserves one more year. Bill Battle is making the safe decision considering this is his first year as AD. It wouldn't look too good if he came in swinging the ax after only being around to witness one bad season.

OK, "if" BB doesn't make the tough decisions, which parts of the ath dept will be in "big trouble"?

I don't see any tough decisions in the Bama athletic dept on the horizon. Certainly none that will have them in "a world of hurt".

Not even keeping Grant this year was tough. I've stated for well over a year that Grant could not be fired this year.

Don't know of any other coaches that are even close to being on hot seat at Bama.

He can't possibly be any worse than Moore was at not letting people go. See Wendel Hudson.

Becoming clear our athletic department doesn't give a shite about the basketball program. They play in a dump and employ a scatter brained coach.
