The best part of that article is actually

quote:

UA athletics also received authorization for $36.5 in bonds to be issued for three projects. Funds would help cover the cost of a indoor baseball practice/indoor track facility, a basketball practice facility and academic center/dining hall for athletics. Total cost on those projects is estimated between $45-57.6 million.

Basketball and baseball indoor facilities on the way. DVH has wanted one for a long time.

IIRC he had the funds secured before we started the new football complex.

After the expansion, the next items on the agenda is the retractable roofs for DWR-RS and Baum, cause we can.

Na, the Cowboys have always just been a retirement hobby for Jerry. He's been making enough money to put into his true love, the Razorbacks here lately tho.

why are y'all adding on? serious question. I don't get it - y'all are middle of the sec west at best and no future of climbing higher. Not trying to be critical, but really?

Do you see these..

There is a massive wait list for them. We currently have #2 most skyboxes behind Alabama and we are about to be #1 again with our expansion.

Money!

How are you going to access these seats? Is this going to be a special section accessed through the building with concessions, boxes, and restrooms, or is it connected to the normal concourse with stairs instead of vomitoriums?

It does look really good. Then after a few SEC titles Long will have to fill in those spots with stadium seating all the way around.

A. It would make the stadium that much louder (like it needs it)
B. More money and more asses in seats.

Any plans to replace the temporary bleachers in the opposite endzone?

They'll probably go away in the short term.

The good thing is that if we ever need them, they can be installed in one day, upping capacity by 4000.

Actually part of the reason for the design is that it will tie the east and west concourse together, alleviating the traffic jam in the south concourse food court.

Speaking of the stadium, is this something we do for the recruits? LOL.
