If you were to exclude the ATL MSA (like 20 counties)….Georgia would still have:

A Bigger, busier more significant port than AL
More ports than AL
A stronger agricultural base than AL
A better transportation network
A higher median household income
More Fortune 1000 companies
The most renown golf course in the world Augusta National
More National and State Parks
A higher rated university than anything in AL
The North Georgia Mountains
Better Roads and utility infrastructure.
As just a few examples.

AL is closer to MS than GA…..without ATL

But GA does have ATL which is a bigger economy than AL by itself. And ATL has more pro championships (2) than AL has pro teams.

Hmmm I would gladly trade Atlanta to another state by by God you can tell when you cross that state line into Alabama... the poverty is quite apparent. I saw a farmer who. Had two prisoners over there one time. Continue heading west and you’d never know you were in Mississippi until you cross that big river on the other side.

How're your teams doing. Alabama's MLB team make the World Series? Your football team undefeated?

Let's see.. we're fresh off a national championship last year. We've won 6 in the past 12 years. We're poised to win it again this year. I'd say we're doing pretty well

You’ve got about a 50/50 chance of winning your own division..

Georgia will play Cincinnati in the Peach Bowl just like last year - only this year, they lose.

Peach Bowl runner up sounds about right for the Dawgs this year.

Man, thank God we don't have to play Texas A&M then...

I'd be afraid of any team that can beat such a vaunted roster.

This is no way to talk to your reigning MBB regular season and conference champions who currently have a top 10 recruiting class for next year. But hey, I’m sure there’s something LSU is good at?

The Hawks made a fantastic run at the championship.

The run was deep and unexpected. Only a referee stepping on Trae Young’s leg killed our chance for the NBA World Crown.

These Braves knocked off the best team in MLB history who won an astounding 105 regular season games and only need one more to win another World Series.

UGA has played in a real National championship game just coming up short. Only a few teams have.

The Falcons suck eggs and just need to move out into another city. We can move the Jaguars up here and make them a real NFL team.
