Hopefully the league becomes wildly successful and all of the profits go directly to the NBA who subsidized the league for decades

Please strike. Sure she’s not making as much as NBA players but basic economics explains that. Wish I was making 70k+ at 22 years old, especially for playing a game.

Elon will probably uncover where taxpayers have been funding some of it.
WNBA is about as money-making as wind towers.

Their league isn't even self supporting. The NBA is like USAID for the WNBA, and the spigot has opened as far as it can.
