@jzenor Auburn makes it official: Andy Burcham is the new “Voice of the Auburn Tigers.” A very good guy, just like Rod Bramblett.

This is the right choice. Wasn't sure if he would accept it since he and Rod were such good friends, but I'm glad he's willing.

Good choice. That should be a very healing thing to bring Andy in. He does a good job on baseball broadcasts. Still sad about Rod but excited for him.

Nobody thought Rod could fill Fyffe’s shoes but he did and now there is a whole generation of Auburn fans that have no idea who Jim Fyffe was.

Still just terribly sad what happened to Rod and his wife.

I can't imagine what that first gameday will be like.

Jim and Rod just had that passion inside them when something great would happen there was no way to hold it in and it showed. Here's to Andy unleashing that fire on us come 8/31

Anyone else here remember Gary Sanders doing Auburn games from 1969 or so through 1979? Talk about some passion for the Tigers.

I sure do!! Listened on my little realtone transitor radio every saturday. He was good

I was kinda' pulling for Paul Ellen to get this job but after I found out that Andy had become Rods kids legal guardian, I am glad that its him

Didn't Ellen do the games for a couple of years between Sanders and Fyffe?

This brought tears to this bammer.

But what a wonderful thing to do for those children.

RIP Rod & Paula, your Auburn family is taking care of things.
