Enjoy playing next week with no little rest after a late game on the road.
Glad to have hosted such a great bunch of guys.
We stand tied for second. It would have been great to have played you and sent your arse home as third place in the SEC.
Alas. We must settle for the sweep.

Congrats to the Ags. This was never not going to happen. This series is all they’ve been thinking about for 2 years. Especially after the 3 game sweep last year in Austin.

Outside of Robbins absolutely on fire hitting… the Longhorns didn’t play particularly well. By that I mean walks and fielding errors committed.
But the story was the Aggies hitters

I guess you have to find solace where you can. Being outhit by 1 doesn't mean shite in reality. I've seen plenty of professional games where the winning team got outhit 2-1. When your pitching is limiting "oh frick" pitches to solo shots and not walking players...there's a high probability you will win if your offense is clicking.
Texas pitching threw a lot of good sliders in the dirt and fortunately Aggie hitters were patient and layed off. That explains a lot of your walks. Texas pitching is absolutely talented and relies on both power and sliders/change ups. Running into a patient team at the plate will be a challenge for anyone.
