What rationale would there be behind that? 2 teams with 1 loss (yet 1 with 11 wins and another with 12), 1 is the SEC champion while the other didn't win the division. What justification could there be to put bama over missouri?

If Auburn is left out of the CG, why not? Better than seeing them play UCF or Northern Illinois. Better for the city as well.

I didn't want to see LSU vs bama 2 and I don't want to see the iron bowl 2. It's ridiculous that one team should get mulligans when no other team in the nation would get that chance.
With that being said I 100% seriously doubt Auburn would make the same mistake LSU 2011 did. Not saying Auburn would win again for sure but I think I'd be another heavy hitting game. I'm more worried about Mizz ATM.

Ohio State could lose to Sparty. NO F'ing way FSU loses to Duke. That aint gonna happen.

However, that was the whole supreme argument in 07 why a 3/4th ranked UGA didnt' go when 1 and 2 lost while a 7th ranked LSU passed them, because UGA didn't win their conference.
Then in 2011 even though bama didn't win their conference, you could still make the argument that OSU's loss was too terrible to overcome.
This year, Missouri would have beaten the team bama lost to, and their only loss is in 2OT to a team in the top 10. There is simply no justification at all to keep bama over missouri if missouri wins saturday.

All the advantages Auburn had will be gone. This one will not be at home. The pressure will be on them this time not Alabama. No house money so to speak.
In the BCSCG I guarantee they would feel the pressure. Most of Bama's team has been there and done that and more than one time.
And maybe biggest of all...the Iron Bowl Miracle will have been rendered irrelevant and meaningless. It'll be like their little orange balloon got popped.
They can talk big and bad all they want.They don't want to play Alabama again. No chance.
