The Playoffs is compromised by politics and pandering. The SEC. It just means more.

They have to get the best 12 teams next year. Just put in the top 11 SEC teams and Oregon and you got an awesome tourny.

As a fan of a team what's both won the SEC title then lost to another SEC team in the championship (2017)
and
Lost a SEC title then won against the SEC champion in the championship (2021)

The SEC should just break away and form it's own entity.
Play a 12 game full SEC only schedule.
Top 4 teams at the end do a mini- playoff.

SMU finishes with a 4-4 or worse record in the SEC this season. Indiana is 5-3 in a best case scenario. Maybe 3-5 if they draw Florida or Oklahoma’s slate. Boise State is a complete joke. Penn State is a middle of the pack team in the SEC. Tell me I’m wrong.
