it's his ridiculous stereotyping that probably offends people, if anything.
Fair enough, I get that. But all of us are guilty of being stereotypical at times. No reason to let this asshat's stereotyping bother us. We know who/what we are and won't let some dbag tell us otherwise

Damn Yankee, pile on or STFU. Don't tell us how you do it up North.

Not offended at all. Amused at these poor guys feeling the need to promote their pathetic conference by making juvenile comments about a conference that totally owns them. Of all schools to claim scholastic superiority - acorns?!?! LOFL

Gee also took shots at the University of Louisville and is in even more hot water for comments he made at the same function about Notre Dame and Catholics.
"The fathers are holy on Sunday, and they're holy hell on the rest of the week," Gee said to laughter at the Dec. 5 meeting attended by athletic director Gene Smith and several other athletic department members.
"You just can't trust those damn Catholics on a Thursday or a Friday, and so, literally, I can say that," said Gee, who is a Mormon.
The university called the statements inappropriate and said Gee is undergoing a "remediation plan" because of the remarks. Gee apologized in a statement released to the AP.
Thought this was funny. From a Nola article, can't link from phone app.

b1g academics aren't even on par w/ the ACC or PAC12. They have nothing except for large historically well funded universities that offer lots of programs, that doesn't make you the Ivy League and it doesn't excuse you from sucking in a sport you pay as much or more than anyone else to compete in. And seriously Penn State had a riot when they fired a coach who covered up child rape...frick the b1g

Gee is a dildo and everyone knows it. His azz is still sore from the azz whipping that the SEC has put on his school...in basketball and football.
Northwestern? Pleaseeee..who the frick wants any of that?
Michigan State? the area around the school is a haven for drug dealers, hookers, rapists, carjackers and plain out and out thugs. And the unis are awful.
Iowa? You know how freaking cold it gets there? And other than corn & wheat ...what freaking good is it? Guys in Iowa learn about sex with livestock growing up.
Indiana? Home of pale azzed white basketball players and I cant think of anything social redeeming.
Illinois? What a piece of doo doo on the landscape with "fighting" as part of their mascot name? Indians should sue for misrepresenting honor and courage of their fore fathers.
Yeah....the big ten...what a joke. Wait til Ohio State has a big problem and then finds out their HC needs to spend more time with his family and take care of his health.

frickin yankee in a bow tie.
Does it get any worse?
I hope THE OSU makes it to the title game and the SEC gives Urban another heart attack.

Ole Gordon spoke at the LSU HSC commencement a few weeks back. LSU faculty member who introduced him thanked him for making it so easy for LSU to win the BCS championship in 2008. I enjoyed the dig and the crowd laughed.
