When could we have announced it that would have been better for Texas A&M? Regionals? Nope. Super Regionals? Nope. Game 1 in Omaha? Nope. All of those.. literally all of those are worse options.
The portal is almost closed. How long did you want us to wait until we announced it? After the portal is closed?
Oh, and we didn't leak it. Pierce or BZ did.. so there is that too.. Why would we leak in Game 3 when we didn't even know if a Game 3 was going to be played? GTFO with this bullshite.
So again.. give me 1 example of a timeframe where we could have announced it, where you wouldn't have thought this exact same thing?

It's obvious to me that Texas did not leak it and that it came from Pierce's side. Del Conte does not use that idiot Bohls to leak information.
The plan was to announce the day after the series ended so Schloss could avoid postgame press conference.
And of course, CDC did not plan to leak on Monday. He had no way of knowing A&M would lose on Sunday.

If this truly is about hiring a coach away from another team, where was the outrage when aggy stole Schloss away from TCU? Oh, and anyone who doesn't think TCU is a rival doesn't know where their "gig em" came from, lulz. It's been 12 years since aggy played TCU in football (same as Texas) but far less in baseball...and before stealing Schloss they were getting their arse beat by the frogs.
