LSU's looking good so far with the fastbreak offense but Fla & AU have the horses to beat them if they get caught looking ahead to Nov 9.
Same can be said for Bama in regards to A&M.

The truth. But every L$U fan will make excuses and dick ride any other team to explain this and excuse it.

Not sure about LSU, but Bama’s run game is better than you think

Bama and LSU have had similarities this season. It also looks like AU and UGA have shared some from the eye test as well

Y'all have 20-30k people showing up without tickets just to look for one? Even for a Troy or Northwestern State game? That's pretty damn impressive.

Amazing to me how much Alabama and LSU mirror Clemson the last 5 years. They used to be a ground and pound run first team. They used to laugh at Clemson, saying you can’t win Championships with that smoke and mirrors offense.

They used to say that a defense that doesn’t see a whole lot of power sets in practice is destined to be soft.

Then Dabo showed everybody you could run a high octane, tempo, perimeter based offense designed to open up the run, and win national titles. Now everybody is looking for Clemson’s secret sauce. Best of luck to LSU and Bama.

What in the good F?? Florida is absolute garbage. Just because Alpaca is gone doesn't mean they became a good team over night. LSU beats Auburn by 2 TDs.

How do you figure? What is similar about these two teams?

it won't be as boring as the last game of the century!

That game wasn't boring. That was, as Les Miles so eloquently said, "big boy football"

Let's glance at last season...

Vanderbilt first. Last year, Bama put the Arkansas game away at halftime, and Arkansas ended up scoring 31. Still wasn't close, just like the LSU-Vandy game. LSU had that game by half.

Texas next; last year Bama got ahead of Oklahoma, and then rode out the game. Oklahoma finished with over 30 and put up a lot of numbers, but never truly threatened to take the lead. This compares quite well to the LSU-Texas game; LSU played on the road, got up 20-7, and then the teams traded the rest of the way. Lotsa Texas points and yds, but never a real threat. Just interesting.

Point is, bitching about LSU's defense is kinda meaningless (and I know that I do it myself). Just like Bama last year, LSU's in the position of being unstoppable on offense, and cruising through games.

The defense didn't give up 38 to Vandy. They gave up 24 (still not great). The offense had a endzone fumble lost and pick 6.

No you didn’t. You saw the final score right? Did you see Vandy score 38 on LSU? Wow!
