Amazing to me how much Alabama and LSU mirror Clemson the last 5 years. They used to be a ground and pound run first team. They used to laugh at Clemson, saying you can’t win Championships with that smoke and mirrors offense.
They used to say that a defense that doesn’t see a whole lot of power sets in practice is destined to be soft.
Then Dabo showed everybody you could run a high octane, tempo, perimeter based offense designed to open up the run, and win national titles. Now everybody is looking for Clemson’s secret sauce. Best of luck to LSU and Bama.

Saban’s Gotta be pushing 80. God bless him for tryna keep going like Joe-Pa and Bobby Bowden. He’ll probably have a few 8 or 9 win seasons before he hangs it up like those other old arse coaches did.
Recruits are probably thinking he’s gonna retire while they’re enrolled. I’m thinking they’ll probably name Butch Johns head coach in waiting to keep the machine rolling.
