that gap between 2 and 3 mil a year is the real settling point.. it's hard to find time to spend much more at that point.
It's Florida and Texas.. pennies on the dollar cost of living. I mean seriously, who couldn't stretch that $5M he was getting and make it feel like seven?

Jimbo is coming off of a 6-6 season at fsu where his team is more talented than every team on their schedule besides clemson and alabama. I promise you that florida state wasn't going to pay that to keep him, especially after this piss poor season.
