Another "Bama is awesome and LSU sucks" thread by a Gump. Awesome.

A little sensitive aren't you? OP's comments about LSU were that LSU has one of the best secondaries in the country. Didn't say anything remotely close to "LSU sucks."

Have you seen his numbers vs every other secondary he has faced? There is a reason he didn't blow up in the LSU game like most he has played in this year. I agree he will have a big day vs MSU. To be honest....I see this as a very high scoring affair. Bama's D will be tired with how time they were on the field last Sat. Book it

lol, they didn't call anything either way all night outside the personal fouls late in the game and OT. prior to the first PF call, there had only been 3 penalties called all night COMBINED between both teams.

Or you were playing a much improved LSU since week 5.

Just give credit where it's due. It's fricking due

I was more shocked at Bama's run game

We havent been consistent in the run game on the road this year. At home has been a different story.

Hard to catch TDs when DBs are holding your hand all night.

We'll take the W, and hope the refs can make adjustments instead of folding to home team pressure.

Well... It's true.

In your celebratory flame-fest over the past several days, you continue to run down your own team every time you say that LSU sucks.

You are the worst kind of fan. You don't give the opponent any credit and you thus take all credit away from your own team. Your entire purpose as a sports fan is to live vicariously through your team so you can assert yourself over others while simultaneously running down your own team.

If LSU sucks then Alabama also sucks, seeing as how they needed a miracle comeback to send the game to overtime. If Alabama had won by 4 TDs, your argument would have merit.

So, congrats on Alabama sucking too.

MSU can't cover a bag of cement one on one so I expect them to double if not tripple cover Cooper. I hope Sims is ready for it because the entire rest of the field will be wide open. Should be like shooting fish in a barrel.

You won't be able to run on our front 4. Gonna drop a lot back in coverage. Would love to see someone like Sims throw through that.

Obviously this had A LOT to do with it, but that doesnt explain multiple dropped balls and missed assignments.

Best corner was out and he did nothing against Trey White
are you referring to the suspended guy, robinson? thought he was your 3rd best CB according to every single lsu fan on this site prior to the game. All he did was get wide open pretty much ever play and then inexplicably drop passes. white had literally nothing to do with it, because he was usually 3 feet away trying to catch up

Robinson isn't LSUs best corner. That would be Tre White

Y'all really need to let the whole "we're better at home" line go. Your home schedule thus far has been significantly worse than your road schedule. No shite you're gonna be better at home when you play shitty teams there.

Everyone else has had career days throwing against you. Why would that be different with Sims at home?

All you have to do is bracket Cooper and man up on the other Alabama receivers (?). Sims forces passes to Cooper even when he is double covered and I for see Sims lucky no interceptions streak coming to an end on Saturday.

I'll take this thread for what it's worth, and say the OP thinks if Cooper had those stats against LSU, he'll light State on fire. Cooper is a bad dude, but he had more drops than our freshman Quinn.

He did have a good game all things considered and is certainly an immense talent. However, amongst the several variables that led to the Tide's close victory of LSU, near the top of the priority list is the fact that Rashard Robinson picked a most inopportune time to violate team rules and get himself suspended. While J. Collins did an admirable job and White was his usual dependable self, it would have been the more physical Robinson assigned to cover Cooper for much of the night. MSU has no White or Robinson IMO.
