Cooper just couldn't get open against Tre White, unfortunately Collins was a step too slow.
We did a great job containing Cooper, as usual, Sims tried to force him the ball all night and Cooper really only gashed us on that TD catch and run against Collins. Outside of that 23 yard TD catch which was a great one he had 7 catches for only 60 yards. Cooper was targeted 16 times by Sims.

Our true freshman CB held him to 2 receptions for 22 yards FWIW

LSU locked him down after the TD in the first half and the stats back that up.

to be fair, Sims didnt really force it all that much. Cooper dropped about 3 or 4 really nice throws by Sims.

LSU secondary is easily the most overrated in the SEC this year.
Cooper showed us nothing in Fayetteville.

If Cooper could catch even the refs wouldn't have saved you though.

Whoever your shitty QB is will be shaken up by Preston Smith & Chris Jones coming off the ends.

was really pretty shocked at how easily Cooper got open on Saturday against what is one of the best secondary's in the country
Our 2nd best cb (Robinson guy that shut down mike evans) was suspended. We had our nickel back on him most of the game.

Hard to catch TDs when DBs are holding your hand all night.

Our QB has been sacked like once this whole season. Dude is smooth like your mom's tits.

Still, you know you are a badass when you have one of your worst nights and you still get 83 yards and a touchdown against that kind of secondary.
AC is probably the best in CFB right now... He and Reggie Ragland showed out Sat but that is all I was overly impressed with. The decline has set in...

Have seen alligators in the swamp with longer arms than Cooper

I wish more Alabama fans would shoot each other

Helped that we let our 3rd best corner guard him half the time.

Its sad that the result of a game makes you act like this.

4 pages in this thread and not one mention of Beckwith or Alexander when referring to Cooper's drops, all on inside slants.
It wasn't a coincidence.
And, to be fair, we didn't even attempt a pass near a hash mark.

yeah you have a good point. He heard steps on one or two of those drops.

Cooper was still a force... at the college level he just demands help or he'll find a way to get open. I don't think he would necessarily be as good if AJ was his QB.. Sims ability to avoid pressure gets him extra catches and yards
