Derek Dooley disagrees. I'll also be surprised if Bray is even on the team at that point.

Derek Dooley said it's a gimme for us? Link?

Prepare to be surprised. He's not going anywhere.

It is a winnable game, but to say it is a gimme is absurd.

Actions speak louder than words. Derek is a walking meat puppet. I'm sure most Tennessee fans would agree.

We may not have the same talent level as ya'll but we played ya'll as good as Bama did last year. We could beat ya'll IMO, but I don't think we will. Still a year or two away from that. Our one chance to upset ya'll we had the midget playing QB.

I can understand where you are getting it. We have 10 potential wins while 7 potential losses. If the cards fall our way we could get 10. If not I still don't think we fall lower than 5 losses.

That is about right. I say 7 potential losses, but things would have to go really bad to lose all seven.

Bama and LSU - almost certainly losses
AU, Arky, aTm and UT - I think MSU would be doing good by going 2 and 4 with those teams.

That is 4 losses even if things go pretty good.

Then you have the egg bowl and the potential for an upset in a rivalry game.

That is why I think 4 or 5 losses is most likely. Certainly could be a little better or a little worse.

I think we win 7 to 9, 8 is solid, 7 is disappointing, and 9 is pretty damn good.

Don't worry all the MSU posters disappear 5 weeks into the season.

Do you know what revenge means? Obviously not with the Bama game being a revenge game too.

Not really. That's when Bundy and Coonass really shine.

Don't be silly. To even say this is absolutely absurd.

LSU is coming straight off of what will be a brutally physical contest with Bama.

As for Bama, we're sandwiched in between a rivalry game and the next "game of the century." (i.e. "trap game")

I think State will be better than Aubie but nowhere close to Bama, LSU, and Arkansas.

Mullen can't beat teams in the West but I think he gets the Plainsmen this year.

I'm trying to figure out why State fans think Russell is very good at all. He has been terrible his first two years against SEC opponents.

Tyler Russell SEC Stats:

9 games
57/117 48.7%
4 TD 8 INT
727 yards

What about any of that gives you confidence this year?

Oh yes you're right. I actually think we will go 9-3 this year. Think we can win 3 out of 4 from AU, Arky, aTm, and UT. Just have a feeling Tyler Russell is really gonna surprise some ppl. He's got all the mechanics and hopefully with an improved line he can do his thing.

Why is AU a revenge game again?

Dunno... Cuz Auburn always wins, maybe? Who knows... it seems like the "revenge game" is the CFB cliche of this millennium.
