texas fans were giddy when they left the swc to play the big 8 schools. then it just wasn't good enough to play Kstate or oklahoma state even though they filled dkr. in a few years, when the new wears off, they will be looking at the big 10 because those mississippi schools won't be exciting enough and they don't play georgia or bama enough.

Lol this is no difference than my making a factual post about Kalen Debeor and Josh Heupel destroying LSU and your only response is talk about national championships in your lifetime. Thats not a response? Thats just talking about something different. Im not saying LSU hasn't won football titles or won baseball titles (which literally translates nothing to football coaches origins). I was just pointing out a similarity that you never address. Congrats on the titles in your lifetime both baseball and football but neither have anything to do with a post about Kalen Debeor and Josh Heupel. Furthermore neither have anything to do with a discussion about Texas and OU. This just all furthers my point that LSU fans always bring up baseball somehow, just like Kentucky fans just fall back on basketball, when we arent even talking about those sports lol. If LSU beats Kalen Debeor or Josh Heupel then you can have a relevant response to the thread topic but until then just stop responding. Its sad

In my life Ive lived through 2 recognized national titles and 7 SEC titles in football. Happy now you know my age?? You gonna be able to sleep better tonight now that Ive responded to you? When Nebraska left the big 12 for football itwas a conferencene Texas and OU even when Texas was having serious down years.
If you think playing in a conference with thebobly other member to win a natty was tcu from the 30s is the same for excitement as playing in the SEC you are delusional. Texas tabs wanted to play more marquee matchups just like other schools would want to as well

Great gets for the conference. One of my greatest pleasures in life, a guilty one, is fricking with Texas and Texans but I actually enjoy being around them....but they can't cook BBQ for shite though....beer, sausage and ice cream yes....BBQ? not at all....

Riley left and gutted the whole program. Venables has done well rebuilding the roster, but he can’t coach consistently, and is probably a dead man walking regardless with the schedule this year. OU beat the brakes off bama late season, so the talent is there. I expect Heupel will be the coach in 2026.
