Still behind 3 other programs all-time against final ranked teams.

Eh the Vols have the fewest Big 6 wins out of the Big 6 all-time.

They have more wins than any of the SEC big 6 other than Bama.

It helps when you've played UK and Vandy a combined 250+ times.

Good thing Ohio St isn't in the SEC... you guys are 22-14-3 against the SEC all-time for a .602 win%. Also of your 22 wins, 20 were against Aggie, Mizzou, Vandy and Kentucky. Might want to stay where you at.

Man, Michigan could get to 1000 wins in the next two years.

3.Michigan(989-352-36).731

If our country survives.

They’ve played Auburn 3 times and never beat us. Last time Ohio State played Auburn was in the 1990 HoF Bowl and the Tigers whipped their arse to the tune of 31-14.

I see why you posted this now

No that was not the reason. I still would have shared even if Ohio State was near the bottom.

We are 1-1-1 vs Ohio St., but the win was for the 2007 Natty so bonus points =)

I give Kentucky credit, they knew when they had enough.

How many of those were fake wins?

Always shocked how close Cats and Vols are to Columbus yet they never seem to play each other.

Really a meaningless stat considering programs started in different years. The head start in the 19th century might make your program older, but it's not really a measure of success.

Imagine how many wins Mississippi State would have if they had the luxury of playing Michigan or Ohio State's schedule...

Michigan & tOSU had a higher SoS than Miss State this year

Why? They want east wins so they will make a bowl, not be beaten to a pulp, and watch the bowls on TV.

Now sure how you reason that. Ohio State has been playing football for over 130 seasons. That is a long span of time to be the top program in winning percentage. An amazing feat.

sorta related to OP
quote:

1.Ohio State(953-330-53).733
2.Alabama(952-335-43).732
3.Michigan(989-352-36).731
4.Notre Dame(937-335-42).729
6.Oklahoma(934-337-53).725

Just looking at this sample, Michigan has 1377 games.

Ohio State has 1336. Alabama has 1330, Oklahoma has 1324. Notre Dame has 1314, and we know they didn't play in bowls for a few decades, plus (usually) no conference championships. So, they're about equal in total games played, and Michigan has 40+ games more.

So who was Michigan playing while the others weren't?

Nebraska and Tennessee are the ones that recently have been the farthest out from their historical norm the past 20 years

So how many decades are required until we say the past is just that, the past.

History matters, no matter how irrelevant Auburn was at the time.

Would you trade OSU's football history for Bama's?

And yet, Michigan owns you head to head overall. I didn't know that until recently.

That's gotta be embarrassing.
