Naw. One of the great things about college football is playing teams from different conferences on different campuses you don't usually get to see.

It's ok to have a few non conf games. I do wish they were not cupcakes and all P5 opponents.

Such a shift would never occur UNLESS the playoffs expand to 8. The SEC could literally have 10-2 teams at the top on any given year that though the best teams in the country would miss the playoffs.

The 10 SEC plus 2 ACC/Big 12 model provides for 6 home games and 6 away. Teams playing neutral sites would make their own arrangements.

If you can bump the TV money and expand the brand the return is worth 1 home game. It improves the value of home games.

You don’t feel that people would attend better games?

Sure but it doesn't make up for that last revenue even at 75% capicity

will the CFB playoff committee legitimately look at the strength of SEC teams playing each other versus other conferences and give multiple SEC teams the nod even if they beat up on each other?

At this point, I don't care. Whoever is the best team in the SEC is usually the best team in the country. The winner should host an invitational -- fugg the CFB playoff committee, let them become the NIT of CFB.

8 Game SEC schedule with 1 at large and 4 from each P5 conference.

That's the best we can do while not losing out in the eyes of the committee.
