I hope they leave their purses at the door. Wear big boy pants and make the tough decisions.

Will the sec make rules to stop coach’s playing politics wrong ?

The south has the team of u of ala and has a coach with insane personal greed that plays politics against the south and the state of ala

I’m switching teams to a team that does not play politics against the south

Alabama’s coach worked to put in office a senator that then went and tried to do a coup on the American voters ...

He voted to not let the voters have their say by voting to throw trump out of office

The south and sec country elected trump and the patriots

So u of ala must make a decision ... it’s Saban or lose the south and patriots

Saban has brought massive division in America with his politics

Many people have posted about leaving the nfl and some college football too and that will keep spreading ... this cannot be hid

The cat is out of the bag

Sankey said he’s very concerned about the upcoming season. Probably not great news

Bye bye and good riddance. The fewer racist fans my university has, the better.
I supposed you are also hoping for a return to segregation

All of your posts remind me of the old Harper's Weekly cartoon critiquing literacy tests to vote in the Reconstruction Era South.

It reads: " "Eddikashun qualifukashun. The Blak man orter be eddikated afore he kin vote with us Wites, signed Mr. Solid South."

Your 'murica and "us patriots" routine bleeds of a new age rekindling of "Mr. Solid South" irony. But, ignorance and a complete lack of self-awareness may indeed be blissful.

I don’t feel good that the greatest threat to SEC sports happens during the reign of the weakest commissioner in decades. Sankey the Yankee will either salvage his legacy or cripple the strongest sports conference in the NCAA

They’re going to have a hand to hand battle royal to determine the Champs. LSU about to go B2B.

You won’t miss a single game. You’ll just be that guy who shows up to watch the game and bitches the whole time about how they should all just stick to football and leave out politics, never realizing that you’re the only one actually talking about politics. Everyone will just roll their eyes and wish you had other plans that day.

Sankey needs to take off his pantyhose, read he said doesn't look good for fall football. Listening to all the medical heads.....same ones that haven't condemned protests and riots but day we can't have football.

We could have football without fans of we had to....this sucks

I'm willing to start a Skyking goFundme for:

- GED prep classes
- Sylvan Learning Institute full service tutor (or as he may call it "a tudor" or "book learning helper") program
- in home wifi with a full complement of streaming services that offer more than "but, my 'murica, guns, and patriots" news channels

The 'Rant is its own support group. Always has been. If we can help one schit poster at a time, why shouldn't we?

I support excluding politics (right or left) from college athletics.

It’s not supposed to be a platform for political discourse, it’s supposed to be an escape which can bring everyone together.

The fact that those on one side seem determined to interject their political and cultural views into every facet of their lives (and in doing so everyone else’s) doesn’t speak well to the country being able to coexist peacefully as these expressions ramp up and begin to be confronted by those who will demand to have their views made known.

You switching teams? Well LSUDad has room for one more under his big tent. And no politics allowed. Good luck and good bye.

Too late , that ship has sailed

Maybe you can find a DeLorean with a Flux Capacitor and go back to when "SEC Pride" meant steadfastly holding on to the institution of segregation, then go back and tell those SEC sports folks that POLITICS should be left out of Sports, after all those Blacks just wanted to play College Sports at ANY STATE UNIVERSITY in a State where their parents paid Taxes

The issue is that folks with your ideology want to say," OK 2020 is when we start the clock where we have no Politics in Sports", yet you forget about all the Politics in Sports in previous Decades

Instead of starting your clock in 2020, that clock should have been started in 1900
