The schedule has broken perfectly for LSU this year and you essentially have 2 hard games left, Bama and OU.
Even if you limp into the playoffs at 10-2, no one will take a BK team seriously until he actually wins a NY6 bowl game. I, for one, won’t be impressed until he wins a playoff semifinal game. That’s when you know you truly had a team able to win a NC, even if you came up short (well, except TCU who intentionally used Michigan’s cheating against them to win that game).

Haven't a clue what any LSU fan would be worried about? webels had only scored TWO TDs heading into 4th quarter. That was against that mighty green slime defense.

I understand the point of your post, but we do have SC, @Vandy, and A&M in consecutive weeks. That won’t be a cakewalk.

SC is after LSU has a bye and is at home. They already have 2 losses and are worse than last year.
Vandy is on the road and they have 2 weeks to prepare, so could be a little bit of a struggle. But let’s be honest, no championship caliber team loses to Vandy (see Bama 2024).
A&M game is at home for LSU, and A&M caught some serious breaks to beat ND (dropped extra point, 4th and long conversion, etc.). This wouldn’t be a season defining loss, but not one a team in contention should lose.
If LSU loses any of these 3, they could be in danger of being left out at the end of the season unless they beat Bama or OU. LSU’s OOC SOS isn’t going to do them any favors if they end up 9-3.

Not scared. LSU will win a close game, and this board will add Ole Miss to the overrated category and say LSU hasn’t played anyone yet.

2020-2021 was the worst back to back years of LSU football since before Saban was the head coach at LSU, that’s before the year 2000.
Less than FORTY players on the roster after the 2021 season. 40. This is an SEC team that won the national championship 2 years prior and there was less than 40 players on the roster, let that sink in.

Think you missed a few other posts.
I’ve mentioned the Ole Miss game (possibly in another thread), but Arkansas and KY both almost won. Arkansas out gained them, had more first downs, more TOP, and probably wins the game if they just didn’t fumble it. Ole Miss isn’t nearly as good as last year, but I wouldn’t call it a “cakewalk.”
Should be a game that LSU wins if they are truly a contender and even remotely worthy of a top 4 ranking. If this were UGA or OSU, the line would be very different. LSU doesn’t currently belong in the same conversation as the top 5 teams in the country. Those teams have coaches who have won stuff and didn’t finish unranked last year.
