Why would a program pay for play using money from boosters, when all they have to do is let the boosters pay the players directly for making token appearances?

As this thread indicates, there is zero evidence that pay for play is occurring in CS (or Tuscaloosa or Athens, etc.) Aside from dumbass anonymous message board posters making absurd baseless accusations.

If you want to listen to Toasted Bread, or whatever his name is, posting from nowhere Oklahoma as your foolproof source of Pay for Play, go right ahead. Personally, I'm going to assume he's just another blowhard, know-nothing message board jackass just like all of us on this site, and the the billion dollar athletic programs with entire legal and compliance departments tasked with ensuring that kind of idiocy doesn't get their program hammered with costly sactions probably have a better idea of what's actually going on.

There's no proof of whatever Ewers agreed to when he transferred to Texas. Yet your fanbase, the same one that consists of posters giving incredibly pussy-hurt sentiment about "we're not cheating" like the OP here, has no problem tossing out accusatory claims for what he has taken as consideration for enrolling at Texas.
