No i have no intention of pounding sand. Nor do I have any intention of not asking the simple questions like, how damn stupid does one have to be in order to believe anm did nothing wrong? After all……..

It amazes me how a fanbase (and it's virtually every one of them... ours too, I guess) can go from accusatory (along with all the other fanbases... all except for the fanbase of the program being accused) in the pretty blatantly obvious cases like Ole Miss a few years ago, the LSU basketball deal with Will Wade over the last few years, A&M now, etc.. to suddenly completely change into an arrogant, defensive,"my program is the only program that would never do such a thing" mode when their team is the one suddenly being criticized.
It happens all the time. Over and over and over. It's as predictable as the sun setting in the West. A&M fans were carrying the torches and molotov cocktails when LSU and OM were in the crosshairs, as OM and LSU fans were defensive and arrogant about it (and most other fanbases when their team was in the same situation) before them. Now, they are the ones being arrogant and laughing about it.
The moral of the story: Principles and double standards don't matter when it comes to college football fandom. The only thing that matters is winning and seeing your own program be successful. And if some blatantly obvious situation begins to happen with your own program, and 100 fanbases are pointing the finger at your program, deny deny deny, and tell them that they're just bitter and jealous. Everyone repeats the same script every time. 100% of the time.

Or we had all the best recruits in the nation at Kyle Field when we beat Bama and the place was going nuts, something most of the recruits mentioned. Thankfully recruits weren’t live streaming themselves mocking us like the recruits y’all had in town for the Kansas loss

Same script. Except now NIL programs are legal. So different result.
A&M nailed NIL out of the gate, and it paid off for us in a big way. But I'm not too arrogant to think it will continue happening going forward. Every other program in the country is scrambling to copy what A&M, Bama, and UGA did this past cycle.
The competition will get fiercer for all of us as more programs get their shite together and figure out the post-NIL landscape going forward.
