Any way you slice it, this year's LSU team isn't very good. OK, average at best. Guess we want to give the Bengal Tigers (4-2) the benefit of the doubt. That's not to say they can't upset No. 10 Auburn (5-1) this weekend, especially since the game is in Death Valley. And especially since Auburn, whether it has been a good team or average team over the years, hasn't fared well in Baton Rouge. Not a single win there since 1999.

Auburn goes in as a seven-point favorite, which should tell you LSU has a lot of problems entering Ed Orgeron's first year as head coach.

I’ve never seen this much shite talk coming from the Auburn side heading into Baton Rouge. It’s almost like they have zero respect for Coach O.

I’m a believer that the intensity a team plays with depends on the opponent. I doubt the team/environment will be anything close to what it was for Troy.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to give extra motivation when you haven’t won’t in Tiger Stadium in 20 years. I know it’s the media but still seems like a dumb move.

Yeah. The media does not equal Auburn.

You know Al.com is a full blown Bammer rag right? They are probably trying to give LSU bulletin board material.

I’m betting what is a large sum of money to me personally on Auburn covering. It will be a blowout loss coming off the emotional win against a terrible Florida team

Our roster says they're probably right. Young, no depth, no qb play. Seems about right.

But hey maybe that is to our advantage.

Auburn had no intensity against Mercer and it showed.

This looks to be far and away the worst LSU team we have played down there since '99.

Hey dumbass, since when has Charles Hollis ever been associated with Auburn? He is the biggest Bammer at al.com and doesn't hide it.

Yep. Every team since then has been ranked except 1. Only 2 were not top 10 going in. Only team that was not ranked was 2001, which they would have been #15 if that game was not canceled because of 9/11.

2003 #9
2005 #7
2007 #4
2009 #9
2011 #1
2013 #6
2015 #13
