There's the dumbass who thinks Alabama is the average college football program.
Once again you're the hypocritical dumbass, Bama ain't the only Program throwing around massive 52% pay raises
Also, you never see a Asst Coach in a Women's Sport get an $850K pay raise, so I'm wondering where are all the Title-IX issues, seems that excuse is only used when the Players ask for more fair Economic treatment

Because contrary to popular belief, he did a pretty good job given what he had to work with.
His salary could be $5.00 and that would be about a dollar fifty too much.

Yes, I'm sure you are much better at evaluating coaches than Saban is.

You're full of shite about the number of programs that pay the way Alabama does. Sark makes more money than most FBS coaches.
Those coaches are a good part of the reason recruits go to these schools to start with. You act like they get paid for no reason at all, or that there is no benefit to the players.

And...........
You're completely ignoring the VALUE of the Talented Players to the coaches and how they help those Coach's Careers and ASSIST GREATLY in them getting those huge contracts, in fact the coaches might benefit from Talented Players more than the other way around, all coaches attend the same Seminars in the coaching industry and have the same general knowledge base, the only real difference between winning & losing is the Talent Level of the Players
Like I have said for the thousandth time, the successes and the Revenues generated are created by the the coaches & Players IN UNISON which is why the Players clearly deserve larger stipends
Your claims are completely one sided meaning your claims are likely a load of crap

Every league that has tried to start up has failed while paying players LESS money than the costs of a football scholarship.

4 and 5 star recruits? What did he have to work with that was so bad? 5 freshmen on a complicated defensive scheme

No, not better, but it is pretty easy to recognize a huge pile of shite when you see one.
