I think every team is going to have to come to terms that they're not going to "dominate" the conference and any "good year" they have could easily be followed up with a not so good year. There's just too much depth in the conference for one to two teams to be at the top every year.

It's why I enjoyed the Saban run so much. I knew that college football would never see another run like it. I'm just thankful it was my team that had it. RTR!

Also Bama had zero points in the 4th qtr. OU defense put the clamps on their last 4 drives.

Without careless turnovers Bama wins by multiple scores. Correct the mistakes = blow the doors off.
Good news is you guys think Venables is a great coach. You will keep him around until the ball doesn’t bounce your way, or the officials call PI and offsides correctly.

And this is what your offense did against our defense when it wasn't gifted the ball inside our own 40. Your offense couldn't drive the ball on our defense. I wouldn't be gloating too much...

- 6 plays, 4 yards, punt
- 3 plays, 5 yards, punt
- 6 plays, 29 yards, punt
- 8 plays, 41 yards, 52 yard FG
- 5 plays, 26 yards, punt
- 3 plays, 1 yard, punt
- 8 plays, 20 yards, punt

We beat ourselves is a pretty damn good description.

Well, thanks then. Hope you do it again the next time we play.

Hes 0-2 that’s like saying Kirby can’t beat him.

Looks like you're starting to understand.

The INT was a bad throw into coverage and had nothing to do with a hard hit. That was as good as given by UA. The RW fumble was all about punching the ball out which is great technique. Now the hit on Simpson he did not see coming was a hard hit that caused a fumble.

Even wilder: That was their first home Conf loss since LSU in 2019.

And a thread about depth turned into a Bama excuse thread. I’ve been amazed at all the excuse since Sat. Lots of ifs and buts and coulda and shoulda.

OU offense did its job by not turning the ball over. Allowed our great punter to pin them deep and force longer drives which increases risk of turnovers. Defense stopped them when it mattered and even scored. Special teams got a turnover and made their field goals.

It was a game of field position using our defense to cover offensive issues. Offense did just enough and maintained ball security.

At the end of day OU scored 23 and Bama scored 21. W

And the conf is messing up going to 9 games because of the depth. Thats one more tough game which means more injury potential. Most voters only look at wins and losses not who losses were. B10 suckered SEC commish into a bad decision.

I know you won’t believe this. But Bama hasn’t been Bama for a few years now.

Bama is down.

Bama struggles with a dominating defense that creates turnovers.

It’s a slow burn because of social media. Saban was an outlier.
