Its not about the last 10 years. This is for this year. All 4 of your OOC teams combined only won 6, 4, 2, 1 games. Thats why its so low.

Well if you want to loan us your crystal ball so we can know these things 2 or 3 years in advance when we schedule these games that would be much appreciated.

I don't think its coincidence that the rotation changes so Bama can keep playing they weaker schools. The coaches know how it works and even they complain about it.

IIRC our coach was the only guy who voted for a 9 game SEC schedule.

But yes we control it. We are so powerful we tell the SEC to frick off and give us the bad SEC East teams.

Solid argument for the first part of your post but the 2nd part is just pure conjecture.

Any time someone presents this argument it gets nowhere. There is no documented evidence and none of us that I know of have any connections to the SEC office in that shite city we call Birmingham.

Even though you're being a treacherous bastard i'd like to truly thank you for that research. I was impressed with Tennessee being up there. As far as i'm concerned an SEC schedule with one decent OOC game is good with me. I'm with the LSU fans on dropping permanent cross divisional games now though. Rotate out all cross divisional games evenly. And Auburn and Mizzou swap out.

You'd be okay with not playing Auburn annually?

LSU's He-Man schedule is to blame for their consistent struggles
with Arkansas, mediocre record vs. Ole Miss (since 2008), and last but not least: losing the last two of seven against Alabama.

Even though 'Bama spanked Florida by double digits four years in a row recently, if they had to play them every year, Alabama would understand what it's like to have a hard tine getting your dick hard against powerhouses like Arky, Ole Miss, Clemson and Penn State.

Yes Korin. The hateful marriage desperately needs a separation. We can't get a divorce because it would not be kosher for either school to leave the SEC as we're both charter members. But seriously man, that "rivalry" is just too freaking pathetically evil. I know you Gators don't like UGA and FSU but this Bama-AU shite is demonic man.

ETA:.....Swapping AU and Mizzou is also geographically accurate...

In fairness, I'd venture to guess that the conversation between Saban and Battle concerning VT in 2013 went something like:

Saban: "Damn it, Bill, get VT on the schedule somewhere in the next 2-3 years. It's a name program with some recent success, but we both know Beamer will be over the hill by that time or they'll be replacing him with a guy who is following a legend. It's a win/win. Get off your arse and do something. The entire state of Alabama, not to mention the majority of the population in Louisiana, operates around me and I'm not willing to sacrifice that."

Bill: "Anything you ask Mr. Saban, I'll get on the horn as soon as possible. They'll want revenge from 2009 when we spanked them on national TV, so I'm sure they'll be naive enough to make it happen."

Saban: "Don't stop there you shortsighted hick. We can't play UGA as our rotating East opponent in 2013. When the conference is altering the schedule after expansion is announced you damn well better sacrifice at least one of your worthless testicles to get that game swapped for UK. I'll kick Mack Brown right out a damn job if you don't make this happen. You know I have ungodly amounts of debt from failed real estate ventures and UT boosters will pay for a winner. Everything is bigger in Texas, Bill, but nothing should be bigger than my contract and cult-like following while at Bama - my mechanic calls me "Coach Saban," Bill. My mechanic for Christ's sake. He looks like he can't even spell football, but you bet your arse he can spell Saban. I'll throw you under the bus as soon as I accept the UT job too. You can bank on that."

You don't always need a crystal ball.

You're with the Bouchers on dropping permanent opponents?

If that day comes, they'll continue to struggle against certain teams and fail to find themselves in the NC game, while finding something else to blame their failures on. Then you'll find yourself siding with them once again.

We all know LSU is the only team in the history of sports that has never truly lost a game if you consider scheduling, Florida, refs, Florida, wet grass, Florida, the Dolphins, Florida, Nick Saban, Florida, etc., Florida, etc.

That wouldn't solve anything. The state would still fight over which team is better. At least when they play now the main drama dies down a few days after the game. If they played once every 5 years in the SECCG, when the game ended there would be so much build up there would be riots in the streets for weeks.

6. Kentucky – 98-55, 64.05%
13. South Carolina – 96-59, 61.94%
16. Auburn – 93-60, 60.78%
19. Georgia – 92-61, 60.13%
22. Florida – 91-62, 59.48%

43. Missouri – 84-67, 55.63%
57. LSU – 82-71, 53.59%
62. Mississippi State – 80-71, 52.98%
69. Vanderbilt – 78-73, 51.66%
95. Alabama – 71-79, 47.33%

This can be a bit misleading. For instance, compare and contrast Arkansas vs Alabama on this list. Alabama contributed to a lot of losses of their opponents, and Arkansas contributed to a lot of wins of their opponents. In other words, if the Hogs were a better team, OF COURSE their opponents cumulative record would look worse.

Without looking at Bama's 2014 schedule, will their cumulative opponents be above .500?

Will LSU lose to Ole Miss again? Will Arkansas win a game? We have UF on schedule this year, the team LSU constantly cries about, but will the gators be worth a damn? Our opponents suck arse, and that's hardly our fault.

A Bama schedule thread! How original and imaginative.

You know...that record could've been 82-68 if certain teams had taken care of business.

If LSU was a better team would they lose to Ole Miss less than 50% of the time?

Bama has had the easiest schedule in the sec for over 20 years now. Nothing new.
