BBG's sauce is too thick, their mayo proportions (at least for the commercial product) are off.
I also think they put sugar or something in it because it tastes a little sweet sometimes.

Only like 1g of sugar I think. BBG is just the easiest to get here in Maryland. Most folks up here have never heard of it. I loaded up when I was in Bama a couple of months back. Trying my hand at making my own now.

I did some short ribs and chicken on the smoker this afternoon and this thread sparked me to make a sauce. I was the only one that knew what it was but all that tried it really liked it. No one slathered on so it wasn't overwhelming but they all liked it.
