It seems the narrative that the Tide is a dramatically different team since September is ramping up. I’ve watch a majority of Alabama’s games this fall and I don’t see it. Their defense is still susceptible to solid passing attacks and their run game outside of Milroe looks inconsistent. Texas is still a terrible matchup for them, and I’d bet Texas would win 7 times out of 10 on a neutral field. Even with our long list of injuries, I think we’d handle them.

Y’all won head to head so you deserve to get in over us. Good luck! I definitely think we have improved. Jalen is a better manager of the game now…..

You don’t go from getting bullied in the trenches at home to favorites in a few short weeks.

True. Our true freshman Proctor is definitely playing better as well….

A lot of it is recency bias with Milroe. He's played well against shitty defenses for three straight weeks. UGA will be the real litmus test.

It would be fun to put this to the test, no?

This is the first time Texas has been in the conversation this late in the season in 15 years.

Enjoy it, seasons like this a few and far between for Texas.

Bama would steam roll Texas today
Y’all have the Sark effect every season. He’s a coordinator trying to be HC

Your front 7 bullied us on passing downs...so did USF and Arkansas. Congrats.

Your oline certainly didn't bully our dline, y'all ran for like under 3 ypc. Our oline did better than your oline on run plays. And Sark had a great game plan to neutralize our pass rush with Ewers getting the ball out early and making great passes.

But anyone who knows anything about football can see that teams aren't bullying our pass protection anymore, and our oline is a different animal than it was in September.

I don't disagree with Texas fan's position on this. Having said that, I'd feel really confident if we got another shot at them right now.

SEC defensive coordinators need to deploy more three high safety packages. Thats all they run in the Big12 and it’s the most annoying shite. It basically forces college kids to consistently execute double digit snap scoring drives.

Alabama may or may not beat us if we played tomorrow.

Doesn't make a shite, because when we did play, we ran 7 minutes off the clock with 12 straight runs in the 4th quarter. And then mercy knee'd their asses while their fans were leaving early. Milroe had nothing to do with that.

And yet, Alabama would be the Vegas favorite if they played next weekend on a neutral field.

Don’t get me wrong, if both teams win out under no circumstances does Alabama deserve to go over Texas. Texas won it on the field and you wouldn’t get many real Bama fans saying otherwise. But you sound desperate and unwilling or unable to accept reality.

Sure he did. He made decisions that directly contributed to our D being gassed in the fourth quarter.

Bama would win a rematch by 10+ points. Just stating the obvious. Hopefully we get to find out.

I’m curious how you figure. All the matchups still favor Texas in my opinion.

Sacks allowed by Alabama/yards:

MTSU 2/16
Texas 5/31
South Florida 5/32
Ole Miss 4/29
Miss State 4/23
Texas A&M 6/43
Arkansas 5/34
Tennessee 4/36 *
LSU 2/12
Kentucky 0/0
UTC 1/8

Alabama inserted #77 into the starting lineup on the OL in the Arkansas game. Tennessee had 4 sacks in the first half against Alabama. Since then over 7 halves of football Alabama has given up 3 sacks for 20 yards. The OL has absolutely played better the last few weeks.

The way you will know if any of this just BS or it’s true, Ga will tell you. Ga has everything, and an extremely accurate passer.
