Fair, I'll give you that. There are a good number of Alabama posters that view head-to-head as the trump card.

I literally know of no one (on here or in real life) ranting that Bama should go over Texas. So maybe don't make stuff up? I mean, I'm sure we could dig up some morons like on anything if this heats up, but that would be a small group on the fringe.

You not seeing it doesn't mean I'm making it up.

You don’t go from getting bullied in the trenches at home to favorites in a few short weeks.

The OL and QB confidence is night and day. D is improved as well.

uTx is squeaking through inferior teams. Bama is walking away in them.

I'd have no issues with UTx over Bama for CFPs. But, don't act like 7 of 10 is a real thing

Don’t fall into the mulligan trap of these inbreds. Texas already beat them . Milroe is the same as he ever was. He ran wild against the worst LSU defense of my lifetime. Who hasn’t!?!?!

Alabama would kick Texas arse in a rematch.

Most all of us know that.

So many emotional reactions to that statement. I’m no Big12 advocate, they’ve killed us in officiating all season long so far. The best interior defensive line in the country hasn’t drawn a single holding call even though they’re consistently getting tackled. The Big12 does deserve credit for its influence on football as a whole. All the different veer, spread, air raid, and space concepts changed all levels of football. The defensive innovation has followed suit. There’s a reason NFL coaches are visiting programs like Iowa State to study defensive philosophy and not LSU. When the talent is near equal, you’re not shutting down an efficient offense. You have to contain it, force errors.

I'm not arguing that there should never be rematches. I'm saying ignoring head-to-head results when comparing two teams for the last spot is obviously moronic.

If Alabama beats Georgia, that loss to Texas in September where the longhorns had a scoring drive of 4 yards to salt the game away will be forgiven and forgotten.

You have the the mic but I would love to see the rematch. Best advice I can give you is ask Les Miles about rematches after a lucky win vs Saban.

it's very tough to beat any team twice in a season, let alone one coached by Saban. i'd be pretty fricking bummed if we had to play you again.

Soon ESPN will have a Saban segment pleading his case for being the best 4

You won. Enjoy. Stop beating up on yourselves. Focus is key moving forward.

If the game happened now, Alabama wins, 49-17.

Alabama may or may not beat us if we played tomorrow.
Bammers actually believe that they should be allowed to play every team on their schedule as many times as it takes to beat them and then at the end of the year claim an undefeated season.

Funny considering Sark forced the ball down your throats in the 4th quarter to secure the mercy kneel

The reality is Bama lost by 10 at home. Get over it.

If it comes down to it fair is fair Texas deserves to get in ahead of Alabama right now.

But if they somehow play again I like our chances. Our QB is playing much better, the OL is also and a young team has shaken out a lot of the early season kinks. Why is it that Texas just knows they can beat OU but we can't beat them?
