Really? Based on what? You do realize Bama just had three offensive players taken in the first round of the NFL draft, right? That means nearly 10% of the 1st round came from Bama's O. Both recruit well. "better" is subjective & is a matter of opinion.

This conversation is truly subjective. When both offenses were dynamic the past 2 seasons, i would take either. In terms of better players, auburn is going to capitalize it's title and offensive mentality but no one recruits better than NS. That's fact.

Is this really a fricking thread topic? If they're equally effective, how the hell does it matter?

The OP wants to know (on a level playing field) which offense you prefer to watch....pretty simple question

I actually like both, but considering Alabama's history, I couldn't imagine having any other style than what Coach McElwain employs.

Didn't we have, like, 5 straight games of 300+ yards rushing last season? If that's not running it down someone's throat, I don't know what is. That 440 yards against LSU should also tell you something..

Nope.

It was in fact 6 games.

Kentucky - 311
Arkansas - 330
LSU - 440
Ole Miss - 343
UTC - 303
UGA - 315

Like sustain drives?

Because Auburn had a higher 3rd down conversion rate in both 2009 & 2010.

I love watching a RB have 30 or so carries out of the "I" the whole game and just pound them. But if we had Bama's offense this year we would have lost several games. It's an offense that seems to not be designed to play from behind. So I'll take ours for the simple fact that no game is ever out of hand.

And while we do run up the middle and run a lot, AU is NOT a "power running" offense.

I think you should start with Bama's offense. Wear the D out and take their will. Then switch to Auburn's, run them crazy and confuse the heck out of them. Frustrate them and make them wanna eat the bullet. It'd be a heck of a combination and a quicker way to make a team quit.

I might try this out in NCAA

You mean 21,3,3,0 and losing. Bitches.

Someone's insecure.

I think I like Bama's, because you can be playing at home against your primary rival and completely demoralize them with a 36-point annihilation...and they can't do anything to stop you. It also gets their coach fired.

Running the ball, effective qb play, limiting turnovers, and controlling the clock = win

I wish we ran a more aggressive offense such as oregons. I always want to run trick plays and options.
