I miss A&M’s white helmets. Jimbo has been boring on the uniform front. Certain games expecting certain uniform combos is a cool idea. I wish more teams did that.

I was in high school the last time Bama wore those damn helmets. Never again. Screw that.

I think Perk The Jerk (AU alum here) brought out those white helmets. I'm glad Perkins left for the NFL, he was kicking Pat Dye's arse on the recruiting trail.

Perkins did bring back the white helmets and he was indeed a jerk. He chewed out our radio guy in a post game interview for daring to ask a question about going for it vs kicking field goal (after an LSU game).

For some reason I remember the recruitment of Cornelius Bennett. I was probably eight or nine years old or something like that. He was going to Auburn dammit!
