Apparently you don't know much about the situation at LT. Dues have NOTHING to do with membership numbers.

Supposedly she was responsible for setting up the trust, but as usual, she screwed up and never finished setting up the trust. Without the trust, there was nothing for her to run. She was supposed to be in charge of the trust. I'm fairly sure that was supposed to be how the First Club for Kids played into the equation. FCK would've been the trust. Fitting how well the First Club for Kids acronym described her tenure. At least that's the rumor.

Did you even watch the Fiesta Bowl? Michigan should have scored on 3 different trips to the red zone, but came away with zero. Let’s say two of those are TDs and one is a FG, that’s 17pts, now take away the pick sixes and there’s another -14. That’s a 31pt swing if Michigan plays a decent game. I think it’s safe to say that the entire football-savvy country would be blown away if UGA plays the NCG the way UM played the Fiesta Bowl. And don’t forget UGA has both Muschamp and Bobo, who were both great coordinators, to help game plan. Even with all of the OLB injuries they have, it won’t be close. Duggan is a really good QB and Johnston is a great WR, but they haven’t seen anything like Georgia’s defense. TCU’s O-line won’t be able to keep Jalen Carter from creating chaos all night. OSU’s athletes matched up very well with Georgia’s. TCU’s players, for the most part, aren’t even close to being in the same league. Georgia by at least 3 scores

How’s that screen name working out for you and TCU’s little sister?

Except for the graduates HS part.

So is all of this anger due to sheethole MS not having a city big enough to support a professional sports team and thereby not having a dome to play in? Maybe y’all could spiff up that stadium in Mobile a bit. Might get you a Poinsettia Bowl or maybe a gulf states all-star game. Otherwise, sit down. Shut up. And don’t speak unless you’re given permission. Actually, run grab me another beer first

Yes, but these greens aren’t just firm like a normal new green is. They’re really hard. So hard that you don’t leave a ballmark no matter how high you hit it into the green. I talked to one guy who said they had gotten a pretty good bit of rain the last two afternoons. I don’t know what they did, but the greens don’t play like a normal new green. Could be from a lot of rolling I guess. Maybe it’s the grass they’re using. They said they’re paspalum. If they ever got those things really fast, it’d be damn hard to score on those greens.

Played Abbeville this morning to practice for their 2 man scramble this weekend. I was very impressed with the course, especially their greens. They were average speed, but extremely firm. Anyone who couldn’t spin the ball would hit the green and bounce/roll of the back. Buddy in my group eventually figured out to stop aiming for the center and play it short and let it roll onto the green. They had a few bare/thin areas in the fairways, but overall they were in pretty good shape. I’m not saying they’re a top course in the state, but I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the course. Pace of play was good too. Just thought I’d share for anyone who hasn’t played there recently.

There’s a lot of chatter that she is being let go. Supposedly the terms of her departure have been agreed to and Mike is searching for her replacement.

Found out yesterday that the Superintendent quit and Frantzen is calling the shots again.

Pretty much. It’s either her brother or son running it now. She was sent packing

She’s no longer associated with the course

They’re not “easier to maintain”. They may spray less fungicide, but it’s not like they mow the grass less often. And I hear what your saying about hitting a pricing ceiling, but that’s probably what’s needed. The public courses are so crowded it takes 5+hrs to play a round. The solution to that would be to go up on prices to eliminate some lower their customers. They may not notice a difference on the balance sheet, but it there is less wear and tear on the course, then they’ve made a positive impact in the balance sheet stays the same. I would imagine revenue would increase though, not stay the same if a price increase was to occur

That’s why course conditioning around Lafayette sucks. It’s a whores market. NONE of the courses are charging nearly what they should be charging to be able to keep the courses mint. BUT, anytime an increase is being discussed, people bitch more about that than they do the conditions. You get what you pay for.

Ummmmm……NO! Coral went out way too early to say he was contained. The dude is a stud. Had he not been hurt, Kiffin would be trolling BU on Twitter.

Actually it'll be the healthiest we've been all year but LSU fans never disappoint with their UGA trolling. We've even turned you into Michigan fans.
It’s unfortunate how some fans hate every other SEC team except their own. It’s akin to a child, who hasn’t learned to handle their emotions, lashing out at anyone and blaming everyone else when they get into trouble. This is why it’s so easy for so many to hate LSU fans. Most are great people, but the occasional asshat ruins it for everyone.
