It was an absurdly dumb statement to stay.
You're going to prevent a school from talking to kids about free rides to a college degree?
Beyond idiotic, and I hate Alabama as much as the next guy.

Yea, anytime a high school coach publically talks about "banning" college coaches from school it always comes off as self serving. How couldn't it?
I understand encouraging kids one way or another based on facts you know from previous experiences, but it's still their decision. And you certainly don't strut around letting everyone know about it.

We discussed his punishment in Wednesday night's REC all hands meeting. I cast my ballot for, "Push Him Up Some Stairs", but "Fire His arse" won the vote.
