Amazing how that was such an advantage only to Alabama.
LSU was 3-3 last year in that exact same scenario.
Alabama, Texas A&M, Florida, and Georgia were the only teams in the conference to have a winning record on the road.
Ten other teams didn’t.
Thus, the argument that lack of crowd noise was some deciding factor makes no sense.

They didn’t if you watched the game. Alabama came out and dominated Florida. Looked like it was gonna be a blowout after the first half. Saban tried to sit on the lead, and Florida started running the option run game on every play, and snuck back into the game. The Swamp was rocking.
But the outcome was never in question. Alabama stomped out the comeback attempt and won
Florida really isn’t a bad team. Dan Mullen is just a total fricking dumbass. AR-15 didn’t take any snaps vs us. Maybe that helped them

The only rating we care about is a #1 at the end of the season. We may get it, we may not. We look vulnerable but is there a team in the country that won't piss their pants just a little when facing Bama?
Auburn could get us. Georgia could get us.
At the end of the day we'll let the rest of you scrubs worry about preseason and mid season rankings. We don't give a shite.
