Who says LSU is mediocre? LSU is a borderline top 10 program all-time. They're just not on Alabama's level, that's all.

winning records > than just on par. Bama/Fla would be on par, if you took out a quarter century of games.

That's what makes the internet so amazing. You can follow up and get information on your own. Unfortunately, in too many cases, like yours, some just prefer to make up shite though.

That would give us 5 NCs and we'd be more like 7th or so

1992 was a national championship game, dumbass. The Bowl Alliance was the pre-BCS BCS, and #2 Alabama beat #1 Miami to win it all.
Furthermore, while being the first 2-loss national champion in over 40 years does put you in a class of your own, it isn't a class of elitism - it's a class of embarrassment. Why doesn't LSU try going undefeated like Alabama? It must suck knowing that, even at your best, there was always a team better than you.
Also, I love your aside about "geeks." How the hell do you think BCS rankings are determined? Surprise! Geeks and computers dole out rankings to get you in the game.
Hate to break it to you, sister, but LSU's time has come and gone. No one considers LSU elite anymore - not in football, and certainly not in academics.
Now, quit pleasuring yourself to Nick Saban and go chug some Clorox.

Bama won one, and Bear Bryant has zero. But he did quite well in Miss Congeniality-like contests.

Given some of the so called "Championships" Alabama claims, this comment literally made me laugh out loud. We were universally #1 in 2007 bud

Props to the OP btw. Nothing riles these losers up more than questioning their precious, invented history

As a Bama fan, you should know that your own school decided to award itself 5 more national championships in 1988. Yeah, just added them right into the media guide.

What "championships"? This thread is centered on the premise that we only have one. I was merely pointing out that we, at least, went undefeated during our championship season.

Oh ok.
Why does that matter though? Does your trophy look different than ours? No? Then who gives a frick?

Championships are not the way you measure a program because they are given not earned.
This best way to measure a program is by undefeated seasons, confrence championships, 10 win seasons, major bowl appearances and wins.
You can discredit Bama's championships and they can discredit LSU's two loss "championship"
The other things can not be debated.
