I believe so as well, but if you told me that Duke would annihilate Clemson I would have been skeptical. Maybe Ewers actually completes a few passes beyond 10 yards, and maybe the UTrans DL is able to play more than a few snaps without a breather
You just never know ...

Here's another interpretation: Texas was lucky to be in a competitive game with Alabama one time and lost. They won't get the same opportunity two years in a row, especially moving from Austin to Tuscaloosa.
One thing we know about college football is that whatever we said last year that didn't happen is probably going to fer sure happen this year if we just keep saying it year after year.

Here's another interpretation: texsa being in that game last year had zero to do with "being lucky" and that's a baseless claim you simply pulled out of your arse. texsa will always "get that opportunity" because they always have the talent to play with anybody in the country, anywhere, like I told ya the first time. I think I would know....because I know these clowns better than you. We play them every year.

And the Sips got that arse kicked in Fayetteville too.
With all due respect, only A&M former students/fans should be allowed to use the pejorative "Sips"....
No other teams fan base has gone with Sips out of respect for Aggie tradition. There are plenty of other nicknames for Texas available to the rest of us.
Well don't tell anybody, but all the rest of us think that "sips" is actually really lame.

Nobody uses "Sips" because it's retarded, not because of respect for aggot.
"Uterus" is simply better, and more accurate.

Can texas win? Sure.
Will they? Probably not.

Yes you’re right. Why even play the game? Let’s skip to week 3 and take the L.

Check your road record under Sark..not good. I predict at least 5 false starts in the first half.
I’m a Bama fan you dumbass
Fans are spoiled to winning and we are comfortable. We are only loud when threatened.
LSU game and Iron Bowl are the two games with some noise.

You would think some of the posters on this board would actually be slightly embarrassed of the amount of Alabama dickriding going on this week.
I personally love it. It's hilarious how much Texas triggers people on this site by simply existing

Here’s my take:
Texas isn’t going to be much of a mystery to Alabama.
I doubt Alabama will be a huge mystery to Texas.
That being said, there are two huge differences that could impact the game (home field advantage not withstanding).
1. Penalties. Alabama shot themselves in the foot a LOT last year. That game could easily have been way more lopsided otherwise.
2. Alabama is not running the same kind of offense Texas is building around for Big 12 play, unlike last year’s pass happy team.
Neither of these ensures an Alabama win, but #1 is the one Bama fans hope we saw big strides towards rectifying after game 1. 15 penalties for 100 yards is hard to overcome on the road against a ranked team.

2005 Ohio state is the only time in UTrans entire history that they’ve played a football game in front of a crowd the size of Bama

Texas needs to sell out on defense and really put Milroe's arm to the test.

Wrong. Bama will destroy you. Your QB won’t make it through the game. That’s my prediction. They coming. And hells coming with them.

Your flaw here is assuming that Clemson and Bama are comparable. They are not.

Texas wins!
It’s really that simple, but I can promise you the story will not be Texas is back on Sunday morning. It will be the magnifying glass on Alabama.
Maybe I’m wrong, I just have this feeling.
