And one senior who has not broke a sweat. All the starters are gone including the one freshman who won a spot in the spring. . A calamity of bad injury luck and frankly some recruiting fails at the position. Losing your QB gets all the pub but losing your D-line and linebackers is a far bigger issue.

LSU was good enough on offense to have beaten us in any event. And AU dominated UGA in the fourth quarter on both sides of the ball and even at the QB position (Kirby stole one Sat) so we maybe we would have been 10-2 had we been healthy so no excuses.

That many injuries isn't just bad luck. Could be overtraining.

That’s nuts and has got to be frustrating.

I guess I missed it but did they officially announce what happened to Raekwon Davis? It didn’t look great saturday.

Boo hoo

Do you even realize how UGA was ROUTINELY down 15+ scholarship players under CMR? Hell, in the SECCG game in '12 Bama had almost TWENTY more scholarship players on the field.

Bama fans need to take a cue from their Auburn brethren and just fade into the background now. Your relevance is over for this year and nobody cares about your day to day problems.

They should be really good in two years at that position.

Pretty unfair considering you're only supposed to have 11 players on the field at any one time.

It doesn't matter now. No championships this year.

I often wonder about this. Is the “process” too physically demanding and mentally demanding to meet Coach Sabah’s unrealistic expectations?

This seems to happen to teams Butch Jones hangs out with. We had like 15 offensive and defensive lineman medically retire from football all together during his time here.

I tend to believe this myself, it's a polarizing topic amongst Bama fans, but when you have THIS many high profile players at key positions going down year after year, you can't just chalk it up 100% to bad luck. There is a common denominator somewhere and it's not random chance.

Perhaps you'd like to point to a calendar that shows the last time Georgia was a contender and not a pretender.

Law of averages catching up to us.

We were pretty damn lucky on injuries from 2008-15.

Yea,it's not like your allowed to substitute players or anything.

Would you rather have 85 or 67 scholarship players in a championship game?

But what’s changed? It’s the same strength and conditioning staff and medical staff that Alabama has had since 2007. Scott Cochran and Jeff Allen has been mainstays.
