I've been ready to dump Battle since he agreed to an over 50% price increase for tickets to the Chik-Fil-A kickoff game. Lower bowl tickets jumped from $90 for VT last year to $140 this year.

Yeah, well that was a while back. I'll bet he would never have said that a 50+% increase in retail prices for licensed apparel in a year is a good marketing strategy. Battle needs to remember who he works for, and it ain't Chik-Fil-A.

I think we will play Troy or South Alabama before UAB. But I expect Samford or Jacksonville State to be added in the coming years.

Says a fan of the school that posts only about football knocking on fans that have started golf, softball, and tennis threads in the last few weeka. Just because Auburn only excels at one sport doesn't mean that the other SEC schools are the same way.
