@ Bama
Home field is worth 3
Bama won by 2

Aside from that game, Bama has 3 losses, USC 2. Both of Bama’s losses were worse than USC’s worst loss. USC finished on a 6 game win streak and a win on the road at #12. Bama lost by 21 to a 6 win team in their second to last game.

The CFP will remember the recent waxing by the Sooners. Bama to #14 after it’s all said and done.

The time to do that was last week.

Whoever is in at 11 or 12 will a purely financial and promotional choice for committee if it's a close call.

Coming into the season, all expected the 5 vs 12 to be the most certain outcome. Now, they have a potential blueblood in Bama who has led or been among the top of Nielsen ratings year after year for the most watched team. And, the storyline of CKD breaking out of CNS's shadow or being buried in it sells well.

I'm not saying it's fair, but if the committee considers all things relatively equal, Bama is in as it enhances the Rd 1 game for $$$. Those who like classic team matchups: Bama vs ND or OSU or PSU will tune into watch. Those who are pissed and want to watch another 2024 Bama Meltdown will also watch to see the Tide get their potential comeuppance, and arm themselves with I told you so's and gifs

Don’t they come out with rankings tomorrow so we will know ahead of time?

We won't know anything until it's all said and done and final rankings are out. Probably the toughest ranking of the year for the CFP committee to hedge it's bets for a variety of championship game outcomes and revenue projections to set the final teams in and matchups.

Also LaNorris was just becoming Him when we played at Bama and still should of won. He has now completely transformed into the top QB in the country. We would thrash Bama now on a neutral field and beat them soundly at their place.

bama doesn’t deserve the playoffs if there were 20 teams in it

I feel better about Alabama’s chances now that Stephen has spoken. I expect the Vegas line to move even further any second now.

Alabama just got blown out by a shitty Oklahoma team. That should disqualify them on it's own

and for being the first team in history to lose to Vanderbilt while they’re ranked in the top five. Terrible.

Whether you like it or not. Alabama needs SMU to beat Clemson, then they're more than likely in. Unless the committee really loves Miami. That's the only obstacles.

Is a 2 loss SMU better than a 2 loss Miami?

Honest question. Or is the thinking they won’t punish a conf championship loss?

Bama could’ve lost to a high school team last week & it wouldn’t matter. They are in bc they will bring viewers. No way they are left out.
