Or did you forget that bama was second to LAST in the SEC in rushing last year??

You're right, that was solely because of the talent in the RB room.

In 4 seasons Kalen Deboer has more CFP appearances than Auburn and LSU combined all time.

Alabama won 11 games and made the SEC championship and CFP in year two. It is clear he did get the guys he needed by year 2.

Kalen Deboer’s second season at Alabama was more successful than all but 7 or 8 seasons in LSU’s 130+ year history of playing football. Kalen Deboer had as many wins in his second season at Alabama as any LSU coach in history did in their 2nd season at LSU. People acting like an 11 win season is a bad year are either disingenuous or too stupid to have a conversation with.

If Alabama fans are satisfied with the product they got in DeBoer's second year, I guess that's all that matters. I guess he earned his extension.

It's just DeBoer/Grubb, that's what they do. Their rushing attack is almost always in the bottom third of the country.

Yeah, I don't really care that we'll never be '95 Nebraska, we just need to be good enough to take some pressure of our QBs. We weren't last year, hoping we are this year.

The point was, our failings were not really due to a lack of talent in the RB room.

Alabama fans are a hell of a lot happier about how last season turned out than LSU or Auburn fans are.

You're so defensive and insecure that you can't even talk ball like a normal person. All you can do is deflect and compare Alabama to two teams that fired their coaches.

I agree with that point, not really a talent issue.

When Simpson and Miller were both healthy Alabama was able to run the ball adequately. Miller missed multiple games due to injury and wasn’t 100% a lot of the games he did play. Simpson got dinged up against Oklahoma and played the rest of the season battling that. The Indiana game didn’t get out of hand until Simpson suffered the broken ribs.

Alabama will never be a power running team under Deboer. But when they were healthy Alabama was adequate. Georgia is a good example. In the first matchup with Miller and Simpson 100% Alabama had over 100 yards rushing. In the second game with Miller out and Simpson not 100% Alabama was horrendous. Simpson had -28 yards due to sacks and Alabama’s leading rushers were a fullback and a freshman. Alabama really missed not having Justice Haynes last season.

In no universe, not even your home universe, should you ever talk about how a normal person would talk.

And before you get all upset and talk about how I wish you were dead that is simply not true. It is just that you are a cosmic mistake that should have never been sent to this planet in the first place.

You are definitely not a normal person, that is for sure. So much pent-up anger and defensiveness. Did you have a rough childhood or something?

No he doesn’t. As a power 4 head coach he has lost 11 games. LSU and Auburn combined to lose 13 games just last season. And Deboer has won a number of conference and lower division national championships.

Fair enough. If me/LSU, being your Internet punching bag helps you control your emotions in real life, I guess that's a good trade-off for those around you.

I'm about to hop in the car to head to visit family, if we don't speak again, touch grass, and have a good weekend, Captain.

Auburn hasnt made the playoffs yet and LSU is undefeated in the cfp, so yes, he has more CFP losses than both combined
