I am by no means a Bama apologist, but you’d have to remind me of when the time was Alabama spread unsubstantiated rumors about their own coach sleeping with staff and tried to run him off, and then they had to back down and bring him back for another year to keep from paying the buyout. I don’t recall that ever happening at Bama. This is bad for Auburn. Even for Auburn and their slimy boosters this is still bad.

This isn’t about Coach Bryant or Alabama at this time. You’re about 40 or so years too late. Auburn just showed they are still in peril. They make bad decisions, and a lot of universities do make bad decisions. Alabama did for sure before Saban. Auburn has a hot plate they need to get rid of. It’s not good for their program with recruiting. Start over now and reset. It’s no way you can get the recruits you need excited going to (Lee County), Auburn. Who the frick is running the program there? I have a good idea who is running it all, and it’s Jimmy Rane. . Jimmy is almost worth 1 Billion dollars.

Auburn was not like that with Pat Dye. He was a good person and coach. Drank a little, but a good person. The first people my family moved across from here in Selma was Ralph Shug Jordan. I’m old school here.

Nothing strange about it at all. The OP is making a foolish comparison.

Do you remember the name of the young druggist who worked there?

Every coach had at least 4 years. Curry "quit" after 3 years.

And Auburn incessantly mocked us for being unrealistic.

Since then you've fired every coach that has had an undefeated season, has been to the national championship, or has won a national championship.

And now you've smeared the integrity of a 1st year coach that almost knocked off Alabama. And was ready to whore yourself out to Hugh Freeze.

What a pathetic, hypocritical shite show you are.

It used to be "Alabama fans live in the past!" Now this guy wants to bring it up. I mean, which is it?

Something a little off here. He is said to be the richest person in Alabama, yet the second richest is said to have over 6.6 billion. Must be Auburn math since both are boosters of Auburn.

Considering how Auburn fans acted about all that shite, I think there is tons of room to talk.

That's a real accomplishment to pull that pile of discombobulated
ancient history out of your arse and
then try to make a reach with it.
