I think when you blow out 75% of your opponents, refs are less inclined to throw flags that only delay the inevitable.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the SEC office is in Birmingham.

Bama opponents have been more disciplined than ever over the last 2 years and still have only managed a 2-25 record against them.

The refs were obviously told to not penalise bama opponents - I hope Nick raised hell about totally unfair this year.

A couple years back we had a meeting to discuss how to cover our tracks rigging games. We decided to pay off the stats guys too. Our opponents actually get 200 penalty yards per game. The stats guys just don't keep track of them.

It's pretty obvious that discipline translates positively on the field.

No one had ever come close to running 100 plays without a flag...until Clemson did it last season. I doubt anyone does it again. Those officials should have been fired.

The REC is playing mind games on another level at this point. We only use the refs for key plays in games against LSU. The Illuminati takes notes from the REC.

Has been going on for years.

'17 - 130 out of 130 teams
'16 - 128 of 128
'15 - 102 of 128
'14 - 123 of 128
'13 - 89 of 125
'12 - 108 of 124
'11 - 117 of 120 ...

Teams that avg 65-70 yds a game magically barely get flagged vs BAMA. Happens every week.

Don't worry guys - the usual suspects will be here shortly to explain how having their opponents penalized less than anyone else in America is actually a very sneaky and manipulative way that Alabama cheats.

The large majority of the other teams on that list aren't exactly heavy hitters.

Considering our DL last year and the fact that their OL was ok but not great.........the fact they ran 100 plays without ever being called for holding a rusher has to be a near impossibility. Just totally ridiculous.

Actually SEC refs throw far fewer flags than any other conference officiating crew regardless of teams.
