For those of us that lived through Dubose, Franchione, and Shula, this era of dominance will never get old.
It is the expectation at Bama, it's what makes Bama football so special. I thoroughly enjoy winning every game 50-0, it isn't boring or monotonous to me in any way.
All of this. I grew up in the 90s and early 2000s, sat through every home game of the DuBose-Shula eras, and vividly remember Auburn's six game win streak over us and never expecting to beat Tennessee.
What I am experiencing now could never become old.

Why have I always thought you were much older than this?

Probably due to my delicate balance of pretentious arrogance and "Hey everyone look at me!" posting style.
And Tom Ritter, who was my Avatar for the first 7 years I was here.
ETA: changing it back. Brb.

Not trying to compare what you have done to Arkansas baseball, but last year toward the end of the regular season when I knew we had secured a national seed I found myself just ready for the postseason to get here and not appreciating the games as much. I was just like "great, more opportunities for an injury to happen before the tournament starts"
And then when we lost the national championship game I still felt like we never really accomplished anything despite having a great season. I guess that's just the frustration of wanting to win something so bad and once you've done it it's probably easier to relax and enjoy the games in the seasons after it happens.

I've had the time of my life as a Bama fan/alum since NS has been here.
I've put one kid through Bama (now in grad school) and my second is a freshman at Bama now. What a time to be a student in the party scene - it couldn't get any better than this! Actually seeing and sharing the excitement with my kids, the whole family going to SECCG's/playoffs/NC games every year keeps this whole run from getting boring.
I know this thing won't last forever, but damn it's a ride I'll enjoy to the fullest till it ends.

I'll let you know after 10 more years and 5 more national titles.

I was in school from 1997-2001 at Bama. Total shite....this will never get old.

Are you suggesting losing would somehow be more exciting and fun?
Well I've done that and, the answer is frick no.

All it takes is remembering the DuBose/Shula years. Then any "boredom" disappears.
The younger fans are spoiled. Those of us who lived through those plus the Perkins years know better.
Clemson's going to have a pretty rough fall eventually, but so long as Dabo is there and the ACC remains weak, they'll have a long run as well.

You get 12 games a year. That's it. For something that many of us on this board love so much, College Football, that's not a lot. If you are lucky, you get 13...really lucky 14 or 15. That's why I watch every play of every game regardless of the score.
Many of us remember the "Mike years". It wasn't that long ago, really. I think many of us know how quickly things can turn. I will keep watching and keep enjoying while this train keeps rolling.

Look at their stadium after halftime.....the fans are not even excited. They are going to lie and tell you this and that when in actuality, they leave the stadium after having a lead at half. That is not excitement.

Better than leaving after losing at half, amirite?

Same reason I watched when Shula was around and all the coaches before him. I love the University and want to support it. Doesn’t really matter if we’re good or not tbh. It’s defiintely more fun right now though.

If not for Alabama Football we would already be under communistic rule!

Its boring to you because you do not understand football and how great what you are watching is

This is not a troll. What keeps you watching Alabama football, knowing they should (based on talent) win every game convincingly outside of about 2-3 every year. How does the excitement stay where it is? I know that I have grown bored watching them over the past decade. The dominance has become monotonous, in a way.
