Alabama fans, do you remember the intro to the "Game of the Century"?

This is, in my opinion, one of the greatest openings ever to a football game.

Those 2011 teams will be talked about for decades and truly were all time greats.

(I know there will be dick responses, but this is meant as a peace offering)
Don't forget the ESPN commercial made for the game. LINK

That was an amazing game and I respect how LSU fans feel about Miles. But it's just not gonna be the same without him on the sidelines. You did what had to be done. im definitely gonna miss that goofy bastard. It's just not going to be the same playing y'all.

Except for Bama winning.

Edit
That was actually my first Bama-LSU game. An LSU fan actually got down on the ground and bit my wife's boot and started growling at her. He was there with friends of ours so we let it slide. But that's what makes these games so memorable.

It's a damn shame the real national champions couldn't be crowned that year.

That game was unreal. Best two defenses I've seen go head to head.

I witnessed a biting in that game as well!

Me and two of my buddies were in a small clump of LSU fans. There was this trashed Alabama girl right at the edge of us and she kept messing with an LSU guy standing by her.

So she was started like picking at him and doing weird obnoxious shite to mess with him and he kept saying stop and trying to get her away....... then the crazy bitch just jumps up and bites his fricking cheek!

He grabbed her by the head and threw her down, he had teeth marks in his face. She was immediately arrested and kicked out, it was nuts.

What's a Sooner know about championship football lately? You haven't won one in 16 years. Bama and LSU have both won at least two since 2003.

My dad and brother went to the Game of the Century. They said that aside from some wild/drunk LSU fans taunting/yelling (I'm guessing that everybody who attended regardless of team affiliation was a little riled up for the game anyway, there was so much hype), they didn't witness or encounter too much riffraff. I'll have to ask again though, I was so bummed after that game 5 years ago, I didn't even want to know any more details about how it was in person, haha. There might have been some funny stories that they didn't tell me.

But, I do remember they said that after the game some LSU fans that passed by or came up to them said that Alabama had some of the best fans in the country, out of all the football games they had attended, and were super complimentary and nice about the atmosphere, and the team and Saban, the town, and all that good stuff.

Obviously, whoever they were, they don't post on SEC rant.

Pretty sad that the "Game of the Century" turned out to be completely meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

Well it was a playoff game in the sense that the winner was more than likely going to represent the SEC West and play for the SEC title and then the BCS title. Granted, Bama getting into the championship game without winning its own division kind of killed the meaningfulness of that game. Hell, they might do the same thing this year if they lose one

No doubt those were the best 2 teams in the country. I thought it was unfortunate for LSU to have to play us again because I knew what would happen.

I was at the game next to some wealthy LSU fans that flew a private plane and almost got in a fight cause one of those coon asses kept trying to move over into my seat. I was thinking even when you guys travel you're dickheads.
