I missed this gem the first time. My in-laws live in Opelika, and they are the only ones I ever hear say something like this...every time Auburn loses or is having a bad season (not just against Bama).

I must say checking Facebook is interesting. It’s like watching the stages of grief working out live.
Last night there wasn’t a Bama fan to be found. (Denial)
Then they came on to bitch about Refs and unfair play. (Anger)
Then they started posting memes about how they don’t storm the field when they win (bargaining)
They’re still in the Bargaining stage from what I’ve seen. I’m looking forward to watching their depression and acceptance stages.

We celebrate. We just don’t rush the field with our 9th win and look like idiots doing it by getting trapped in shrubs on national television. You look like an FCS team beating your first P5 team.

Typical of being a team without a victory over a ranked opponent.
Alabama is not a better football team than Auburn. On a neutral field, that game is, at best for Alabama, a 50% game.
Auburn made plenty of mistakes as well. The whole “beat ourselves” narrative is bullshite.

The law escorted 4 Bama fans out of my section yesterday. The fat frick bama fan started making blowjob gestures at me when auburn got a first down. My response... “You’re a class act partner.” His 2 tramp daughters started dropping F Bombs left and right. Their boy friend showing up, standing in the aisle trying to start a fight with a 60-70 year old man trying to get up the stairs. The law shows up and they didn’t have tickets. Pure white trash through and through. That’s the way the tide rolls. I was stunned.
