how can you say that he is better than grant? they were both 4* backs coming out of HS.

It has nothing to do with stars.

And the fact the Dee Hart got on the field before the like of Goode and Grant at A-Day is telling...

Yeldon

I would slow down with the predictions. Ryan Anderson is doing a fine job of recruiting him.

yep.. had a 20 yard touchdown too. It is also very apparent that he works quite hard. And he is developed a great relationship with Trent, not that that means anything really, but still.

And even if you are comparing stars, Grant was generally rated around the 25-30 range, while Hart was a top 10 back everywhere.

Actually, Dee Hart was a 5 star so he's that much better than Grant.

Actually, Frost was a 5 star so he's that much better than Callaway.

Why do people continue to try and perpetuate this myth? Ingram was a "scat-back" in high school too.

You seriously think he was a better fit for Bama's offense compared to Gus's offense? He was a perfect fit for our offense. Ingram was over 200 pounds coming out of high school, Grant was a good 10-15 pounds lighter coming out. Not even in the same ballpark. It's not a myth, just a likely scenario. It's highly unlikely Grant ever makes a huge impact in your offense. I don't see him getting a lot of playing time with Richardson and Hart on board, do you?

Why would I do that? Ban bets are for little children. If you've followed recruiting long enough, things can change daily, nevermind the fact that NSD is 8 months away.

Ingram came to Alabama at 5-10 190. He was a track runner in high school. Grant was very similar. A guy doesn't have to be 6-0 230 pounds to be successful in a pro-style offense.

Knowing who is asking for the ban bet, I certainly wouldn't take it either...

Would his spot on the depth chart be any better at AU? If he is considering walking on, AU must have told him something good imho.
