1961 Bama. They gave up 32 points in 11 games. They went the last seven games without giving up a TD. Think about that. Averaged giving up 70 yards passing and 50 yards rushing per game.

and would lose by 40 to this years team

Surely you jest. 11 LSU got pounded by UA in the title game and that Auburn team won several games in the last minute of play. Lucky as shite house rats.

No

the 15-0 2017 or 2018 teams which feature experienced QB Jalen and protege Tua will be in the talks for GOAT. Not to mention Bo, Damien and Najee tearing it up with a fast and smothering defense.

Uh nope, this Bama Defense is just as good or close enough to the 11 defense that it would shut 11 L6u down

You're basing this off stats against the 2016 SEC, which is dog shite compared to 2011.

The honey badger may have actually killed jalen hurts

You're judged relative to your contemporaries. If this UA team goes on to finish as the total offense and defense leaders then they're certainly in the discussion for the GOAT in SEC play.

Also, by far the most insecure fan base in college football.

Irrelevant. You play the teams you play, in the era you play them. How many 300 pound players were there in 261? Hell...how many 275 pounders? What's next...are we gonna discount the 1927 Yankees? The Celtics during their run?

bullshite, that little fricker would get run the frick over by Hurts. That is, If he could catch him

Mathieu is one of the best defenders in the NFL.

You think a freshman playing college football "runs him over"?

Exactly, the other divisions have rules that are actually adhered to. Not a fantasy league. Let the intelligence flow.

Not close to the greatest

IF they can hold on and win out they will have:
3 straight SEC titles,
2 straight national titles (2nd one with a tFR at QB)
a 27 game win streak
first team in CFB history to go 15-0 (again, still a long way to go, but that alone would be impressive, even though it's only been possible for 3 years...good answer to bar trivia question in about 20 years if it happens)

I would think that would certainly put them in the conversation of greatest SEC team. Even if not clearly the best, they'd be in the conversation so to say "not close" has to be just a troll job.
