Clemson would destroy FSU on Saturday morning, go out drinking all night, wake up Sunday with a massive hangover and still destroy Wisconsin

But again, congrats

Hmm, in that entirely worthless response, I did not see an answer to my question.

Let's try again:

You are insulting Bama's second OOC P5 opponent, so who is LSU's second OOC P5 opponent this year?

Alabama has no interest in Rich Rodriguez as a coach or an opponent.

Since 2005, Bama has scheduled 2 Power 4 (Power 5) OOC games in the same season only twice:

2025 - FSU / Wisconsin
2010 - Penn State / Duke

LSU has done it 3 times:

2024 - USCw / UCLA
2011 - Oregon / WVU
2010 - UNC / WVU

Neither is really all that impressive, with how infrequent it is.

It seems like you're saying LSU doesn't have a second OOC P5 opponent this year? Weird that an LSU fan would talk shite about Bama's second OOC P5 opponent when LSU doesn't even have one

That still doesn't answer the question as to the identity of LSU's second P5 OOC opponent in 2025.

More likely, they didn't have any with outdoor facilities.

Isn’t everyone going to have to cancel games to fit in the extra SEC game

Playing 2 power conference OOC games in the same season...let us know who else was doing that before the 9 game conference deal. Bama is playing Florida State and Wisconsin this season.

Who else in the SEC has 2 power conference teams on their OOC schedule?

Feel like it is fairly common with UF, UGA and South Carolina.

I know UF has the prior 3 years and this year. Also currently set up that way for 2028 (3 teams), 2029, 2030, 2031 (3 teams), 2032 and 2033.

Not talking shite, since I know LSU's track record, and know they will probably do the same as Bama did with WVU and drop Arizona State in 2029/2030 to avoid playing both Arizona State and SMU.

Scheduling 2 is just not something Bama nor LSU has ever really done.

Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to insinuate that you were. I was referring to TN Tygah's original comments.

Totally agree with what you've said. Historically it's not something either school has done, and I doubt anyone will seek to do it in the future with the new 9-game schedule.

Wisconsin beat LSU in 2016, back when you were actually a top tier program.

In 2024 you squeaked out a 4 point win over Wisconsin.

Seems like you're probably two evenly matched programs.

Pretty weak. But Alabama has always played an extremely weak ooc schedule. Although they did schedule a home and home w/ Texas recently; they never had to fulfill their half of traveling to Austin since we joined SEC.

Anyway I guess dropping WVU is better than if they'd dropped Ohio State and kept WVU

Bama has always had a weak ooc schedule. At least until very recently.

Most other big programs will schedule at least one big boy game, one middle of the road game, and a couple of tune up games. That's pretty much been Texas's formula for decades. I expect we'll still play a couple of tune ups (UTEP/Rice/UTSA type regional teams) and 1 legit ooc team. I know we have Notre Dame coming up after the Ohio State series, and I believe Michigan still owes us a trip to Austin.
