But, tonight they thought they Could Show up & win. Every team does that at some point during Their season. It shows you Nate Has not got Bama Basketball Where it wants to be. They will Not make the Final 4 again this Year, & likely might not make the Sweet 16
I'm intrigued by your capitalization of random words.

What's Pearl's record against Oats again?
Nobody respects Oats or his accomplishments. Even last year when yall went to the final four the SEC was passing around Bama as their cheap whore the last 7 or 8 conference games of the season. Yall merely avoided the SEC and got the stupid kind of luck.
Pearl has been performing at a high level for decades.
So enjoy the record (while you have it) which was helped in some part by the NCAA targeting Auburn.

Bama fans told me their roster was the best roster in the nation thanks to Clifford the red dog, fresh 5* croots, Judas Holloway, and Grant Nelson and Sears returning.
Yet all they do consistently is turn the ball over despite upwards of a handful of players with seniority so they lose by double digits at home.
Great coach

Nothing like watching the mighty Auburn Tigers get bumped in the FIRST freaking round. Sure made the SEC look like a joke. Yale??? Yale??

By 14 plus yall lost to 5 out of last 7 teams. Pathetic.
if our A.D. was on the selection committee like yours we wouldn't have got jobbed.

Bama looked like shite last night, turning the damn ball over non-stop and couldn't make FT's.
Nate will get their attention and make the necessary adjustments, the schedule only gets tougher.

We'd been pretty good at limiting turnovers the last 6 weeks or so but Ole Miss executed an elite gameplan to perfection and our guys just kept trying to make passes that weren't there. We were very disappointing, Ole Miss was really impressive. An elite coaching staff.

And still went further than AU in the tournament that means the most.

3 pages in and not one mention of Alabama playing without 3 players.

I mean 2 of them are likely out for the season and the 3rd is a solid freshman but he plays 15 minutes a night. Being without Reid is not an excuse even worthy of mention given the way that game played out.

How does an SEC team "avoid the SEC"?
How the frick does that work?

List the SEC teams yall played in the tournament. Go!

8 SEC teams made the tournament last year.
Only one was assured that they would not have to play an SEC opponent prior to making the Final Four:
Auburn.
Every other region had at least 2 SEC teams:
West Regional - Alabama, Mississippi State
South Regional - Kentucky, Florida, Texas A&M
Midwest - Tennessee, South Carolina
So the committee tried to ensure that AUBURN would get to skip out of playing SEC teams... but they got bounced in the first round, making it irrelevant.
Alabama was in the same half of the bracket as MSU; if they had won, they would have played them in the Sweet 16. State, however, lost in the first round.
Only two other SEC teams recorded wins in last year's tournament:
Texas A&M (made it to the round of 32)
Tennessee (made it to the Elite 8)
No SEC team played another SEC team in the NCAA tournament. Only Alabama and Tennessee won enough games to make it even possible to meet an SEC opponent in their bracket.
So by your logic, the greatest gift a team could have had was an "SEC-free" path in the tournament; however, Auburn was the only team granted an "SEC-free" assured path to the Final Four and lost in the first round.
You sure this is the argument you wish to make? Sounds like you didn't think it through.
